In our modern lives, we often overlook the strain we put on our hands, spending countless hours engaged in activities that involve repetitive motions. Whether it's typing on a computer, gripping a smartphone, or simply squeezing objects, the cumulative effect can lead to problems in our hands, wrists, and fingers. Expert,s highlights the unique complexity of these areas, where numerous joints are packed into a small space. When these joints become locked or fixated, surrounding areas weaken, resulting in inflammation, swelling, pain, or radiating discomfort.

To address these issues, experts shares several simple techniques aimed at freeing up potential problem areas and enhancing joint mobility. The primary objective is to increase mobility, leading to better function and overall hand health.

1. Forearm Mobility:

Start by targeting the radius and ulna bones in the forearm. Squeeze three to four inches below the wrist and gently share the hand back and forth to regain lost motion. This helps in restoring mobility in the radius and ulnar area.

2. Wrist Realignment

Focus on the carpal bones in the wrist, particularly the commonly misaligned area on the lower side of the thumb. Apply gentle mobility forces by placing the thumb in the depression above the radius bone, restoring function to potentially locked joints.

   - Sub-step 1: Apply forces in the depression area.
   - Sub-step 2: Move the thumb to a different area and repeat the process.
   - Sub-step 3: Target the Pisa form bone on the outside with rocking motions.

3. Hand and Metacarpal Movement:
Progressing upward, address the metacarpals, the longer bones extending from the wrist to the fingers. Pinch and rock each metacarpal below the fingers to release built-up scar tissue and fibrous tissue.

4. Finger Joint Mobility:

Finally, concentrate on the finger joints. Contact three different areas in each finger, pulling out in long axis extension to decompress and open up the joints.

   - Sub-step 1: Contact in front of the lower line on the pinky finger.
   - Sub-step 2: Move above the next line in the pinky finger.
   - Sub-step 3: Repeat for each joint, moving along the fingers.

By following these simple techniques, you can experience a noticeable release of tension, tingling sensations, and an overall sense of lightness in your hands. Regularly practicing these exercises can contribute to increased nerve supply, improved circulation, and enhanced hand health. Share these techniques with friends and family to promote better hand care and well-being. Leave your comments below and let us know about your experiences with these hand exercises. Embrace these practices, and you may find yourself feeling like a new person with revitalized hands.
